Marcus Borders was born in Tampa, Fl. He began dancing hip hop at the tender age of 11 entering talent shows and contests for which he received numerous awards. At High School he began to explore Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, African, Afro-Cuban, Waltz’s, Liturgical and Swing. He serves as Sting Dance Director at Blake High School of The Arts, teaching various dance routines and has also choreographed at the prestigious University Of Tampa. Marcus has danced professionally, notably for Grammy award winner Gospel composer Carlton Burgess and also choreographed 2 live concerts for Gospel artists Cepeda McKay & No Limits feat. Nikki Ross, Tye Tribbett and Kierra Sheard. He has performed professionally for Rachel Ray, America’s Got Talent, Disney, Busch Gardens, cruise Lines, Sesame Street Live National Tour, and worked with professional choreographers such as Wade Robson, Chris Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson, Brian Friedman, Dave Scott and Mia Michaels. Marcus is always excited to extend his knowledge in dance and performance quality.
